Detailed Job Responsibilities
- Hold twice meeting of the regional working group committee every six months, plan and review the annual work plan for the region, with a focus on work review and business development.
- Organize school visit event each year to exchange experiences, improve professional management knowledge and foster innovative thinking.
- Meet for all student affair’s deans to exchange each work experiences, promote inter-school communication, enhance leadership and make topic discussions. Including student rights, campus safety, dormitory management, human rights education, legal education, moral education, student club activities, student affairs innovation, improve university counselors’ functions, gender equality education, life education, anti-drug campaigns and anti-bullying.
- Organize cross-region coordination meetings to enhance collaboration, resource integration and experience sharing, fostering resource integration and idea exchange.
- Promote the student rights, raise healthy awareness, creating a diversity, friendly and student rights campus. Also, address school issues and propose relevant countermeasures.
- Provide suggestions for the characteristics of regional student affairs and future development.
- Conduct benchmarking visited study in student affairs.
- Organize the nomination or election of group members and submit the list to the Ministry of Education.
- Examine the annual cross-campus student affairs issues subsidized applications.
- Compile survey for the “Dean of Student Affairs’ Seminar” and “Extracurricular Activities’ seminar” course planning.
- Assist the Ministry of Education in organizing the annual Friendly Campus Award.
- Organize meetings for selecting Character Education promotion and Sprout Schools Project.
- Review the annual regional “Ministry of Education Moral Education Model Schools”.
- Investigate the continuity or turnover of student affairs directors and extracurricular activity directors.
- Assist in the survey of the “Directory of Student Affairs and Counseling Directors”.
- Compile the annual “Friendly Campus Human Rights Environment Self-Assessment Results” for the region.
- Assist the Ministry of Education in promoting key student affairs works, disseminating related campaigns and developing the First Northern Coordination website.
- Provide support for any other tasks delegated by the Ministry of Education as needed.
